Letter to George W. Crawford, 1830 Feb. 15.

The collection consists of a letter from William H. Torrance, Milledgeville (Ga.) to George W. Crawford, Augusta (Ga.) dated February 15, 1830. Torrance discusses the arrest of Elijah H. Burritt of the Milledgeville Statesman and Patriot for possessing insurrectionary literature which was discovered by his partner John Polhill.
